Competition Introduction

National Vocational Students Skills Competition, jointly organized with Ministry of Education, Tianjin Municipal People's Government, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Ministry of Communications and Transportation, Ministry of Agriculture, The State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, All-China Federation of Labor, The Central Committee of the Communist Young League and The National Association of Vocational Education of China, served to deepen higher vocational education reform, intensify cultivation of skilled and applied talents, and create the environment of the whole society's concern and support the higher vocational education.

National Vocational Students Skills Competition is hosted once every year. The design of the competition combines the real working process of production, aiming to cultivate participant's team work spirit and hands-on ability and cultivate future skilled talents who are able to meet the urgent needs of the society.

Since 2018, "Yoodao Cup" Design and Application of Rail Traffic Signal Control System Competition for the National Vocational Student Skills Competition-Higher Vocational Group for two consecutive years to support the successful holding of the competition.

The major categories belong to Transportation and Equipment Manufacturing, including Railway Signal Automatic Control, Urban Rail Transit Communication Signal Technology, Electromechanical Integration, Railway Communication Signal Equipment Manufacturing and Maintenance, Electromechanical Equipment Installation Technology, etc.

Focusing on the major of Rail Traffic Signal Control, the competition comprehensively investigated the contestants' professional skills such as signal system logic design and configuration, signal control system installation and deployment, fault cause analysis and tracing, intelligent monitoring auxiliary system development, comprehensive application of signal control system and professional operation specifications, etc.

Rail Traffic Signal Control System Training System

Rail Traffic Signal Control System Training System takes the ground train operation control system as the technical main body, and is composed of the Rail Traffic Signal Control System-Signal Master Console and Signal Combination Cabinet. The Signal Combination Cabinet is composed of the Train Control Center System, the Rail Traffic Signal Control System Operation Terminal, Passenger Line Mobile Frequency Conversion Cabinet Equipment(Passenger Line Transmitter, Receiver, Attenuator), Simulate Network Disks, Simulated Tracks, Track Relays and Directional Relays, etc. The Signal Console includes Programmable Logic Controller, Human-computer Interface, Equipment Execution Unit, Sensing Unit, Operation Unit, etc. Build a Rail Transit Signal Control System to realize the functions of the Train Control Center to control the rail circuit code, the Passenger Line Rail Circuit Signal Transmission, and the CAN bus communication, so that students can master related technologies through practice.
