Competition Introduction

National Vocational Students Skills Competition, jointly organized with Ministry of Education, Tianjin Municipal People's Government, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Ministry of Communications and Transportation, Ministry of Agriculture, The State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, All-China Federation of Labor, The Central Committee of the Communist Young League and The National Association of Vocational Education of China, served to deepen higher vocational education reform, intensify cultivation of skilled and applied talents, and create the environment of the whole society's concern and support the higher vocational education.

National Vocational Students Skills Competition is hosted once every year. The design of the competition combines the real working process of production, aiming to cultivate participant's team work spirit and hands-on ability and cultivate future skilled talents who are able to meet the urgent needs of the society.

Since 2017, "Yoodao Cup" Communication and Control System Integration and Maintenance Competition for the National Vocational Student Skills Competition- Secondary Vocational Group for three consecutive years to support the successful holding of the competition.

The major categories belong to Information Technology and Transportation, Including Computer application, Computer Network Technology, Electronics and Information Technology, Communication Technology, Railway Signal, Urban Rail Transit Signal, etc. Focusing on Data Communication and Intelligent Control Technology, taking the high-speed railway signal control as the industry background, the competition comprehensively investigated the contestants' professional skills such as system installation and deployment, communication configuration and debugging, fault detection and maintenance, communication and control application design, etc.

Communication and Control System Integration and Maintenance Training System

Communication and Control System Integration and Maintenance Training System mainly covers the Information Technology majors(such as Electronic and Information Technology, Communication Technology, Railway Signal, Computer and Application, Computer Network Technology, etc.) and Transportation majors (such as Railway Transportation Management, Transportation Management) in secondary vocational schools. Communication and Control System Integration and Maintenance Training System is based on the high-speed railway industry and practical teaching design, mainly involving communication and control technologies (such as Serial Port, Short Distance Wireless, WiFi, PLC, Touch Screen, Mobile Applications). Through the platform and the cases, students will be trained in installation and wiring, configuration and debugging, fault handling, learning and innovation. The training content divided into three levels: the first, Industry and Industry Cognition Training (to help students understand High-speed Rail System, Intelligent Control System, etc.); the second, Single Technology Point Verification Training (APP, Platform Button or Touch Screen Button Control Switch Light); and Third, Project Comprehensive Training (System Integration Debugging). It can support the practical teaching courses as Fundamentals of Electronic Technology, Generic Cabling, Network and Communication Technology. Through the platform, students can be engaged in front-line technical posts such as equipment production, installation and maintenance for electronic information communication and high-speed railway signal control related electronic technology enterprises. It can also be targeted at information and transportation related vocational colleges.
